HOTMELT SPRAYING EQUIPMENT
CONTEXT
The customer is a mattress manufacturer, with a production of 250 mattresses per day. The production is very flexible, from simple type - 2 sponge layer mattresses to complex type – 7 material layer mattresses, including variants with Bonnell or pocket springs.
The customer manufactures pocket springs for his own production and for sale to other customers also. In the production process of the pocket springs he uses hotmelt. For bonding mattresses he uses solvent-based adhesive. Another hotmelt type of adhesive is used for some special projects.
DECISION FOR CHANGE
The customer wants to optimize his consumption and supplying of adhesive by using hotmelt for all applications. The decision of changing solvent with hotmelt is thus taken. He thinks of keeping a workplace with 2 guns, just that instead of solvent to use hotmelt.
OUR PROPOSAL
The best solution for the application is a new investment in a melter, 2 hoses and 2 guns. Depending on the production capacity, the customer can choose between 3 sizes of hotmelt melter equipment of 10, 20 and 30 kg/h of melted adhesive.
